CHADD ICONnect Conference
Next week I’ll be attending the 2026 International CHADD ICONnect Conference.
Why ICONnect?
As a therapist that specializes in ADHD, Anxiety and Identity it is important to me to continue to deepen my understanding and never stop learning more. The conference is hosted by Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD) and brings together researchers, clinicians, ADHD coaches, and people with lived experience. It’s one of the biggest annual gatherings focused specifically on ADHD across the lifespan.
I attend so I can:
· Stay current on ADHD research and treatment updates
· Learn practical executive functioning tools
· Deepen my understanding of ADHD in adults (especially late-diagnosed folks and those navigating anxiety alongside ADHD)
· Bring back strategies that are actually usable in real life
Speakers I’m Most Excited About
Russell A. Barkley – Always sharp and practical when it comes to executive functionin
Ari Tuckman – Real-world strategies for adults managing ADHD in work and relationships
Tamara Rosier – Coaching-informed systems that translate beautifully into daily life
Maggie Sibley – Research on ADHD in teens and adults and what actually helps long-term
I’m really looking forward to attending these sessions:
· “Girlhood to Burnout to Diagnosis; The ADHD Woman’s Story” given by Jamie Roberts
· “Unmasking ADHD: Understanding and Treating Shame and Loneliness” given by Peter Kozel
· “ADHD in Women and Impact of Hormonal Fluctuations on Mood and ADHD Severity Across the Lifespan“ given by Sandra Kooij
· “Adaptive Roles & Stress Responses: Understanding the Over/Underfunctioning Dance“ given by Tamara Rosier
· “Hard Conversations About Sex: ADHD and Relationships in Clinical Practice” given by Dr.Lyne Piche
I’m excited to bring back new ideas, updated tools, and fresh energy to our work together.
