It’s January. It’s cold. It’s dark. What to do when “Cave Oregon” has set in:
Get outside. I know. I know. It’s likely cold and wet. There is fresh air out there though. It’s a trade off.
Get moving. Grab the leash and take your four legged friend for a walk. Even just down the street and back- heck- even just walking them to the mail box- it gets you outside, it gets them outside- win-win!
Consider buying a happy light. If you can’t make your own sufficient Vitamin D supply (and nature is not lending a hand) store bought is just fine.
Send a text to your friends and make time to reconnect if you haven’t done so in a while. It’s easy to fall out of practice especially over the holidays. Maybe todays the day to reach out!
