When is “Good Enough”, good enough?

Welcome in and happy March! How are we already in the third month already? 2025 is here and ready to rumble.

Today we’re talking about one of the things that I speak with clients about is the concept of “good enough”. Today we explore this topic! Let’s go!

The concept of “good enough” can bring up all sorts of feelings for folks. Here are some ways to embrace “good enough” in productive and motivating ways:

  • Cleaning

Set a timer for 10 minutes and see what you can do. Maybe you don’t have time to deep clean from top to bottom, but I think you’d be surprised with what you can do in 10 minutes.

  • Self Care

Okay, so maybe you don’t have energy to do your whole skin care routine, what if you commit to doing part of it for a week? What if you commit to brushing your teeth, using a wash cloth to clean your face and you put on some kind of lotion?

  • Hobbies

If you’ve been struggling with taking time for yourself, consider what “good enough” might look like for you. Perhaps you like to draw but the idea of sitting down for an hour feels too much, - grab a coloring sheet and give yourself the freedom to enjoy the colors.

How can you give yourself the gift of good enough?

If this is a question on your mind, perhaps today is the day you reach out to someone for support. My waitlist is open, consider reaching out today to see if we can get you started.

Take such good care,

Laney
